Antonia Wright Featured At Miami Art Week

Antonia Wright (Poetry, ‘05) had multiple art projects on display at this years Miami Art Week. Her pieces were on display at the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), The Lowe Art Museum, and Zilberman Gallery. Antonia is a Cuban-American artist from Miami. Along with receiving her MFA from the New School, she has trained at the International Center of Photography for photo and video. Through a multimedia practice of video, performance, photography, sound, light, and sculpture, Wright responds to extremes of emotion, control, and violence in relation to systems of power. The body is a principal element in her work.

Every December, Miami Art Week hosts over 20 international art fairs, over 1,200 galleries, and thousands of artists. The annual cultural fête also attracts thousands of art collectors and buyers, VIPs, art lovers and tourists from all around the world.
